DSL Customers who continue to have unresolved speed issues should examine their computers and/or networks in detail. Speed and connectivity problems are almost always attributable to lack of virus protection, systems that have not been updated, and spyware/adware infections. More than 90% of the calls we take are solved by checking those three things.

Buy a Bundle, Save a Bundle!
This month we are introducing our Value Bundle Service Plans. What this means is that you can save big on your cable TV, Internet access, and long distance calling. And you can get all these great services on one convenient bill!
For example: Basic cable, unlimited dialup internet access and 100 minutes of long distance would cost you $40.64 separately. However, if you bundled those same exact services with CentraCom, you'd pay $35, for a savings of 14%!.

For the people who want it all, you can get all of our cable channels, 512K High-speed Internet access and 300 minutes of Central Long Distance for $96.95. Separately, these same services would cost you $172.87. You could be saving over $39 with the bundle!

DSL Bandwith Increase
In January, Cut.Net Internet was able to double the bandwidth for the base DSL rate. Previously, the base rate was 512K of bandwidth for $39.95. Now the rate is 1 Mpbs bandwidth for the same $39.95. That effectively doubles all DSL customers bandwidth at no extra cost.
The price decrease applies to the higher bandwith rates as well. 1.5Mbps is now $59.95, and we also have higher rates as well. Customers interested in bandwith rates higher than 1.5M can call us here for more information and pricing.
Note: This change does not yet include our customers in the Bear Lake area. Our rates in that area have not changed.
Virus and Spam Filtering
We have recently improved our ability to remove viruses from emails coming in to Cut.Net customers. Viruses are primarily transferred via email, and eliminating some of these viruses at the server is one more way to protect customers from getting viruses. Please note that this does not mean you can get by without virus protection on your computer, but it does provide you with an additional layer of protection.

Later this month, we will also be introducing new spam control messages that should eliminate much of the hundreds of unsolicited emails that we get every day.
